Critical Incident Stress Management

We offer confidential sessions within a safe space for groups & individuals who have experienced traumatic events to unload, unpack and release the experience. Then provide suggestions for self grounding, relief from carrying the burden and in more complex care situations, referrals for continuing care.

Left better than we found them.

    Group Crisis Intervention

Group Crisis Interventions are facilitated discussions meant to provide individuals affected by a traumatic event with a safe place to talk about the event, experiences during and after the event, and what may happen going forward. Group interventions are especially important because they allow people that have shared experiences to provide peer support and affirmation. Group interventions are conducted by members of the 1st response team who are highly trained in the International Critical incident Stress Foundations model. The purpose of this activity is to provide a method for organizing thoughts and reactions about what happened. The discussion allows participants to address what they are experiencing now and anticipate what they may experience in the future within the context of the event.
